The connection between reading and writing is a foundational skill students need to succeed in K-12 studies, as well as college and professional life.
That’s why I believe one-on-one and small group tutoring is a critical need for students to enter middle school at a grade-ready level. Individual support is also important throughout those challenging middle school years and often into high school.
As a professional teacher with 15 years of classroom experience and a professional writing background, I will focus on assessing your student’s reading and writing level based on Florida standards. Then, I’ll create a personal tutoring plan to ensure growth to current grade level and beyond. Additionally, I will use student success coaching strategies to help your student apply what they learned in tutoring to working individually with confidence and focus in the classroom and at home.
